These terms explain the rules for using Paradido. They apply to parents, childcare providers, staff, childcare businesses and other visitors who access our website, dashboard, booking flows, subscription tools or related services.
Last updated: 23 June 2026
Important note
Paradido provides a childcare and staffing platform. We are not a substitute for your own safeguarding checks, parental judgement, professional obligations, insurance, regulatory registrations or legal advice. If you enter into a separate written contract with Paradido, a childcare provider, a parent, a business or a staffing setting, that contract may also apply.
1. Who we are
“Paradido”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Paradido, operating through paradido.co.uk and related services. You can contact us through our contact page.
2. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Paradido, creating an account, submitting a profile, making a booking, requesting staffing, applying for work, subscribing or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use Paradido on behalf of a business, nursery, childcare setting or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make bookings.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.
- We may refuse, suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe these terms, safeguarding expectations or applicable laws have been breached.
4. What Paradido provides
Paradido helps parents, childcare providers, staff and businesses connect, manage profiles, request childcare, review opportunities, coordinate bookings, communicate, upload documents, manage policy acknowledgements and access subscription or payment features.
We may change, improve, pause or withdraw parts of the service where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, product development or business reasons.
5. Parents and families
Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether a childcare provider, staff member, service, setting or booking is suitable for their child and family. You should check qualifications, registrations, references, insurance, availability, safeguarding arrangements and any other information that matters to you before confirming care.
You must provide truthful information about your child’s needs, medical information, allergies, collection permissions, emergency contacts and any other details needed for safe childcare.
6. Providers, staff and businesses
Childcare providers, staff applicants and businesses are responsible for ensuring the information they provide is accurate and not misleading. This includes qualifications, experience, right-to-work status, identity details, training, insurance, safeguarding checks, policies, availability and services offered.
You must comply with all laws, professional standards, safeguarding duties, employment obligations, registration requirements, tax obligations and policies that apply to your work or setting.
7. Safety, safeguarding and checks
We care deeply about child safety. We may request documents, references, declarations, profile details or policy acknowledgements to support safer matching and staffing workflows. However, unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee that any user, provider, business or profile has been fully verified or remains suitable at all times.
You must not use Paradido to arrange unsafe, illegal, exploitative or abusive activity. If you have an immediate safeguarding concern, contact the appropriate emergency, safeguarding or local authority service first, then notify us where appropriate.
8. Bookings, cancellations and disputes
Booking details, fees, cancellation rules and responsibilities may be shown in the relevant booking flow, subscription page, offer, message, policy or separate agreement. Please read them before confirming.
Users should try to resolve booking or service issues respectfully and promptly. Paradido may help review a dispute, but we are not required to decide every disagreement between users unless a separate agreement says so.
9. Payments, subscriptions and Stripe
Some services may require payment or an active subscription. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy notices.
- You must use a payment method you are authorised to use.
- Subscription prices, billing periods and plan features are shown at checkout or in your account.
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel subscription access through your account flow where available or by contacting us.
- Refunds, credits and cancellations are handled according to the relevant plan, booking terms, checkout terms or applicable law.
10. User content and documents
You keep ownership of the information, photos, documents, messages, policies, listings and other content you submit. You give us permission to host, copy, process, display and use that content as needed to provide, secure, support and improve Paradido.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, abusive, misleading, infringing, malicious or irrelevant to the service.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- misrepresent your identity, role, qualifications, organisation or availability;
- harass, threaten, exploit or discriminate against another person;
- scrape, copy or harvest data from Paradido without permission;
- attempt to bypass security, access another account or disrupt the service;
- upload malware or content designed to damage systems;
- use Paradido for illegal, unsafe or unauthorised purposes.
12. Intellectual property
Paradido’s brand, design, software, text, graphics, logos and platform features are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the service for its intended purpose, but you must not copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse our intellectual property without permission.
13. Third-party services and links
Paradido may link to or integrate with third-party services, including payment, hosting, communications, mapping, analytics or document services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.
14. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep Paradido reliable and useful, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee that any provider, staff member, parent, family, business, booking, job, profile, message, review or document is accurate, complete, suitable or available.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, Paradido is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or losses caused by another user’s actions or omissions.
16. Ending or suspending access
You may stop using Paradido at any time. We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe there is a legal, safety, safeguarding, payment, security or misuse concern, or if you materially breach these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by posting an updated version on this page, sending an email or showing an in-product notice.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
